Rohan Ali is a documentary filmmaker and freelance videographer based in Los Angeles, California. He is a graduate of Columbia College Hollywood with a B.F.A. in Cinema with an emphasis in Directing. He is co-owner of Förstora Media, a digital production company that produces music videos, documentaries on world music and promotional videos for DJ's from around the world. As a Director of Photography, he has worked on music videos, short length films, and promotional DJ videos.
As a director/producer, cinematographer, and editor, he has worked with such clients as Corona's Electric Beach, FYF Music Festival, Low End Theory, Stones Throw Records, ATO Records, Alpha Pup Records, Hellfyre Club Records, G.O.O.D. Music, and Big Dada Records.
With seven years of filmmaking experience, he is currently working on completing his first documentary feature that he wrote, produced and shot in Japan. His documentaries explore modern culture and humanity with a focus on political, social, or environmental change.
